Event Details

This is a two-day symposium examining the handling of solids through and beyond the wastewater treatment system. Its focus is on those technologies which are advancing sustainability goals, including nutrient recovery, energy conservation, organic matter recycling, energy capture, and impact mitigation. The event is organized to provide technical overview of topic areas in the process chain, with each presentation followed by case study applications of state-of-the-art equipment and practices that advance sustainability.  Seven nationally recognized speakers and twenty-four case studies will be presented.

Ample networking opportunities will be afforded during meals and session breaks.  Registration fees include meals.  No extra fee is charged for exhibitors. Price discounts for MABA members are offered, and MABA members are encouraged to invite guests new to MABA events at a special price of 50% off, and earn a complementary admission to a future MABA event.

A field trip is planned to view the Parkson Solar Dryer, newly installed at the Kent County WTP, a facility whose management is nationally recognized for its sustainability commitment.

Overnight accommodations are offered by Wesley College at $50 per night in a dormitory setting. Arrangements can be made separately by contacing the college's administrator Brandy Garlic, 302-736-2567, garlicbr@wesley.edu.
